Nothing, not the accolades at the height of his fame nor the misery and pain he experienced at his lowest moments, could make Johnny Cash give up on his belief in God, and God never gave up on him! What an example Johnny Cash set for the rest us - not an example of perfection for he was very fallible, nor an example of shame for he sought and received redemption and forgiveness from family and friends (and ultimately God) and gave back in kind - Johnny Cash set an amazing example of how to live in this world as a human being and a sinner (which we all are) and still live a life of purpose, humility, empathy, generosity, and joy while holding on to one’s faith even during the bleakest of times, and never giving up. When I think about all the darkness and pain (emotional and physical) Johnny Cash experienced throughout his life and yet he found a way to endure, survive, and thrive, it makes me realize that the human spirit can endure and overcome the unimaginable if one has faith to sustain one and family support.

Bei diesem Konzert war ich anwesend. Ich stand vor der Bühne und habe nach dem Konzert sogar seine Hand geschüttelt. Wow, was hat das damals viel für mich bedeutet.

Cowboy was a great songwriter. "Just Between You And Me," is one of the greatest country songs ever...sung by the legendary Charley Pride. Clement also produced arguably Waylon's greatest album "Dreaming My Dreams..."

Giving it the Feeling, & the Soulful Religious, Affiliations that it required if Recited in Say a Church or Temple of Worship. Otherwise His reciting of it On Horseback 🐴🐎🐴 like He Did? I like this movie very much. A great social study of rural life in Texas with a great performance by Johnny Cash. Two good old buddies have to learn that life isn't all pranks and sweet dreams. If they want to live a happy life, they must take responsibility for themselves and the woman they love. They have to accept reality and grow up, even if looking back is a bit nostalgic. The plot is the background for the song "I wish I was crazy again".
